The author, Kit Berry, recently emailed me here at FoEM to ask if I'd be interested in receiving a free copy of her book, Magus of Stonewylde (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magus_of_Stonewylde), which forms part of a quintilogy of books that centre around the community of Stonewylde (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stonewylde) set in rural Dorset.

I've almost finished reading the first book, Magus of Stonewylde, and can honestly say that I've very much enjoyed it. It's use of pagan themes and symbolism in nature of the different festivals, celebrations and ceremonies makes for very interesting and educational reading.

The characters themselves are very well defined and, for the most part, are never too cliched or overdone. There was some dialogue that made me cringe a little with regards to sexual activity, but nothing too outrageous.

I very much look forward to reading the rest in the series. I'll be posting a more comprehensive review on the blog soon, but just wanted to say that this is something that if you've enjoyed JS&MN, you'd probably enjoy this too.

Are all four books out?

It sounds interesting, I'll look out for it.

Sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out when I get through my current book pile.

Thanks for the recommendation - always good to add another book (or series) to the rotation. I checked her website out, looks like you can buy signed copies from her site or buy them directly from amazon uk.
