So, we're all guilty of succumbing to the social networking thing, I'm sure.

Who's on facebook? I set up an account on Thursday.

Facebook is one of these things that is both a blessing and a curse. I added Jane Goldman as a friend, was approved, and then felt terribly guilty about it for ages because I just felt that I was introduced to a circle that I just wasn't familiar with, and Facebook's privacy settings at the time weren't as good as they are now. So I removed her. TWICE. Nothing against her at all - a lovely lady by all accounts - it's just my terrible insecurities coming into play. I've done it with friends as well. I can be the most insecure tit ever at times and I wonder why people friend me at all.

That said, I'm much better at it these days and have so far kept 94 friends and re-added a few that I had unfriended. But I'm not going near famous folk. Still makes me edgy and uncomfortable.

I think I'm turning into Woody Allen with all his neuroses (but without his taste in women, if you get my meaning). That or I'm preparing myself to become a hermit and live a cave somewhere in deepest Surrey.
